Marcus Allard is a classical trained guitarist and film composer based out of his studio in Bristol. After completing his studies in classical performance, he now works writing scores for film and tv. He is most at home as a guitarist but also plays piano and writes for string ensembles, wind and electronic instruments.
Marcus has been one of the key composers for Sunday Sessions with Chop House Films Ltd which has garnered over 2.7 million streams on YouTube.
In 2024, Marcus has also written original scores for 2 films, ‘A way of life’ and ‘Family’.
With a strong passion for film, Marcus believes that images are bought to life through the music. It is for him the truest means of emotional expression and carefully applies his craft to the visual arts of storytelling.
Aside from composing Marcus is an active performer of classical and electronic music. He has released his debut album ‘Malachite’ in 2023.
